在欧冠69年历史上，皇马无疑是最成功的俱乐部，总共14次夺得冠军，而皇马传奇队长亨托则是夺冠次数最多的球员，他曾随皇马完成1956-1960的欧冠五连冠，1965/66赛季，亨托再次随皇马夺得欧冠，这使得他成为了历史首位也是目前唯一一位六夺欧冠的球员。

亨托进入欧冠决赛的次数（8次）也是历史最多，米兰传奇队长马尔蒂尼和他并列。
